I am politically progressive, environmentally conscious and feminist. I am connected with a number of communities and networks in Ottawa and have lived here for over 20 years.
I am especially happy to facilitate stays of people who are coming to Ottawa to advocate, lobby and network for change in the direction of greater socio-economic justice and environmental sustainability.
I’m in mid-life and mother of two wonderful teenagers. I’m an economist by training and have worked in international development for many years.
The B&B is a new side-line income-generating activity that I started since I quit a day job that I was no longer content with. The B&B is located in the “Glebe House” which has been a multi-generational communal household for many years. We can usually find whatever is needed in a snap — spare bicycle, babysitter, organic mint tea….The Glebe House has an open and relaxed guesting policy so we are used to having lots of visitors and this new B&B operation should be a positive adventure.
I look forward to welcoming you and hearing about your adventures, your struggles, the road you have chosen to travel.
